The materials used in the installation are objects with a similar history – an old street lamp, small elements made of various materials, and steel structures salvaged from a burned-down commercial complex. One of the objects – a lamp connected to a neural network – responds to the viewer’s presence, translating facial expressions into changes in the intensity and rhythm of light.
As the reactivity of the object groups gradually decreases, a question arises: Can only that which responds be considered capable of forming a relation? Is it also possible to identify with what remains silent, unchanged, and if so, to what extent?
